  Why? Maybe because writing reveals ourself.

  You didn't say you don't like to write. Good. Find the reason you don't like yourself when you write.

  The only reason I have made these comments is because, in a very few words, you have already made yourself likeable to others.

  Grammatically, I guess that "writing reveals ourselves." Your writing, however, reveals yourself to yourself.

  In some measure.

  Whether it is a good or flawed mirror, your writing is a mirror.

  There's quite a nasty conflict in my head between what I think is right for me to do and what I've always been told right people do. I've been shying away from that tension for years, but it doesn't seem to have done any good whatsoever.

  So now I'm pushing instead.
